  Alzumab Injection   is an injection that is used to treat chronic plaque psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis is the most common type of psoriasis. It is a type of skin disease which causes dry, red, and raised skin patches covered with silvery scales. This injection consists of itolizumab and should be contraindicated in patients only if they have active and serious infection. Adolescents and children under 18 should not be prescribed this. Alzumab Injection works by preventing the activation of the T cell (white blood cell, part of the immune system). It also prevents and reduces the entry of the T cells at the site of inflammation. If you have any liver disorders, kidney disorders, or other infections, talk to your doctor before using this treatment. Patients are advised to avoid live/attenuated vaccines when treated with this medicine. Completion of the full course of treatment is strictly required.
