  Clexane is an injection that contains the active ingredient Enoxaparin sodium. It is used in the treatment of blood clots. You can use treat blood clots that are in your blood using this medication. It prevents the blood to clot from forming in your blood in the following situations: before and after any surgery. When you have a short-term illness and are unable to move around for some time, your doctor can prescribe you this. It can also be prescribed when you have unstable angina (where not enough blood gets to your heart) or after a heart attack, to stop blood clots from forming. Further, it can be prescribed blood clots from forming in the tubes of your dialysis machine (used for people with severe kidney problems).   Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to enoxaparin, heparin, or other low molecular weight heparins such as nadroparin, tinzaparin, or dalteparin.
