AMPHOTRET 50MG INJECTION
Introduction
The injection Amphotret 50mg is used to treat serious infections due to fungi. It is used to treat black fungus or mucormycosis, particularly in patients who have had or are currently recovering from covid-19. Before you start taking this medication, talk to your doctor about any allergies, diabetes, kidney problems, or other medical conditions. Tell your doctor about any recent medications you have taken, as well as herbal medicines. Babies under 1 month old should not receive Amphotret 50mg injection. If you have any allergic reactions to this medicine, please inform your doctor immediately.
Uses of Amphotret 50mg Injection:
For serious fungal infections, Amphotret 50mg injection is used.
- Visceral Leishmaniasis, caused by the protozoan parasite, is characterized by anemia, weight loss and enlargements of the spleen, liver and spleen.
- Patients with neutropenia (low white blood cell count) and high temperatures are at risk of fungal infection
- Fungal infections in one or more deep tissues of the body
- Mucormycosis, also known as black fungus, is characterized by blurred vision and black lesions on the nose or upper side of the mouth, breathing difficulties, coughing up blood, and difficulty seeing.
How Amphotret 50mg injection works
Amphotret 50mg injection binds to the fungal cell membrane's sterol component, causing cell death and altered cell permeability.

Tell your doctor about any medication you're taking or had taken prior to the treatment.
