TASIGNA 200MG CAPSULE - MrMed
Introduction:
Tasigna 200 mg
Capsules contain the active substance nilotinib. It is primarily prescribed to
adult and pediatric patients who have recently been diagnosed with chronic
myeloid leukemia and who are experiencing side effects from previous
treatments.
Chronic myeloid leukemia is a type of blood cancer that
causes the body to produce too many white blood cells due to changes in DNA.
The aim of this treatment is to prolong survival, prevent the disease from
getting worse, and ultimately reduce signs and symptoms.
Usage of Tasigna
200mg Capsule:
Pediatric and adult patients with chronic myeloid leukemia.
How Tasigna 200 mg
Capsule works:
The BCR–ABL tyrosine kinase is responsible for uncontrolled
cell division in CML. Tasigna 200mg
Capsule disrupts the protein kinase enzyme signaling pathway. It targets the
BCR-ABL protein and inhibits the growth and spread of cancer cells. It is
active against mutant forms of BCR-ABL that are resistant to imatinib therapy.
Interactions with
other drugs:
Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking or have
taken before treatment.
More information:
Keep it out of sight and reach of children. Do not store
above 30˚C. Store in original container to protect from moisture. Do not use
this medicine if the packaging is damaged.
